Alexander Wang is known for his casual mix of refined silhouettes and urban chic. His eponymous line offers a provocative twist on day-to-day garments, where street meets luxury and ones personality shines through style. T by Alexander Wang offers the same ideals, but is centered around tee shirt dressing and pushing basics to a whole new level. Think stretched out necklines, muscle tees, mini patch pocket detailing, and shades of gray, White, and Black with pops of color.
I'd order this in the less popular "heather grey" colour rather than the hazelnut, because even though the latter is considered more "chic", I can't imagine myself wearing such an earthy neutral colour.FYI I'm asian, but slightly more cool toned than average.I'm really glad that the straps are not too long! They usually are for someone petite like me who has a shorter than average upper body. The arm holes are good too, exposing a fair amount of skin for sexiness but not too much that it's ridiculous. But the cut of the straps make it hard to wear a normal bra without having the bra straps and the dress' straps spaced more than an inch apart. I'm intending to wear my bristols6 instead. The scoop neck doesn't dip too low. Chest area is fitting for me. I'm a 32c.The waist and hip area skim. I'd expected the dress to be more body-con actually. Those who're more curvy should expect it to be figure-hugging because I'm 22" waist, 31" hips and had ordered an XS.Good material - not flimsy or see-through, with good stretch and recovery. The length is also not too long for me. I'm 5'1".Recommend this piece! Casual or dressy, up to how you accessorize and the colour you get!
