One summer day in 2006, 300 pairs of red, white, and black beautiful clogs from the 70's were found in the basement of an old clog factory in a neighboring village and was brought to Stockholm. For all the people that shared the love and appreciation for wooden shoes along with the founders--Swedish Hasbeens was born.
Wasn't sure how I would feel about these, but ordered them because I couldn't find a local retailer who carried them so I could try them on in a store. First, let me just say that Revolve's customer service is terrific. When my package arrived, the shoebox was damaged. Ordinarily, Revolve would charge a 20% restocking fee for a return on shoes with a damaged/missing box. Well, I emailed Revolve to inform them in case I needed to return the shoes, and they added a note to my purchase so that I wouldn't incur the fee. That aside, I ended up keeping the boots. Not necessarily the most comfortable shoes I own, but one of the more comfortable heels I own. Helps that there's a one inch platform to counter the overall 3 inch heel. Who doesn't love being super tall, but only have the pressure of 2 inches on the balls of their feet! Plus, the boots look bad ass with skinny jeans. Not going to lie, that definitely sold me. Women will put up with a lot for fashion... make sure you get 1/2 size up, and expect some weird "nurse shoe" squeaking sounds (they are leather boots after all).
