Derived from those sun-soaked Lemonade Stand Days designers and owners, Gillian Mahin and Laura Hall are the masterminds behind the line For Love & Lemons. Born in Wyoming, finding their style niche in Australia and now based in Los Angeles, the collection is anything but conventional-rebelling against the standards of modern society. The line taunts with intrigue as a clash of colors and patterns are evoked by chic separates and devious dresses. Where the modern gypsy is punk, For Love & Lemons is a brand to relate to, for that girl that doesn't follow trends, she makes them.
For Love and Lemons Skivvies offered some of the most beautiful lingerie and this bra is no exception. However, there's somethings that need to be addressed and understood prior to ordering it. The sizing varies depending on the style - I'm a medium through and through, a 32D and my bust measures 37". The medium fit, but it felt awfully restricting considering there's no closure and you have to just pull this bra on over your head - with the lace on the abdomen, there's no stretch or pull whatsoever, so getting it on and off was beyond ridiculous. I ended up exchanging it for a large so I had a little bit more freedom to get it on and off, and the cup size seems a bit better also. I wouldn't recommend this bra for bigger busted woman, but it sure is worth the money - so so beautiful.
This bra is beautiful, but it has its issues. Gorg lace detail in the front offers NO stretch so it's extremely delicate. The back panel of the bra is stretchy, but it doesn't have a clasp so you need to pull it over your head to get it on/off (imagine the difficulty with the lace). Nonetheless, once it's on it's really gorgeous. Taking it off, however, involves some careful maneuvering (such a shame since part of the fun of lingerie is taking it off!). I look like a contortionist while doing it. TTS, but will only fit A/B (small B) cup size.
