lightweight, super-stretchy jegging material. not particularly flattering unless your legs are very long and skinny. honestly, why do people that arent models think that jeggings look good? wish siwy would go back to the cotton/spandex blend- at least that one sucked the fat in. these are like wearing any old leggings. not flattering, but super comfy. oh, and fits a full size large due to the stretchiness of the cotton/elastane material.
This style runs 1/2 size large for me (petite, 5"2, 97 lbs) and I typically wear size 24 for 7's jeans. I ordered both size 23 and 24 for comparison. 24 is just a tad loose at the thigh and knees but 23 fits perfectly. I would think that this style would be true to size for most girls, except for those who are petite and/ or have straighter figures like me. Since I'm short, this jeans bunch a little at the ankle (inseam 27.25 in) but I kind of like the look of it and don't intend to shorten it. Note that the whiskering at the back of the knees are pretty prominent and that the grey wash has a slight bluish tinge under certain lighting. Overall, I'm happy with my order.
Most sizing advice on Siwy jeans tells you to size up, but I ordered the size I normally wear (27 - my hips are 36) and they fit perfectly. (FYI: I've tried on other washes in the Hannah style and find they're all TTS on me.) Besides the fit, the most remarkable thing about these jeans is their softness and comfort. These are now one of the most comfortable pairs of pants I own, period. They're "close," like a second skin, but they always move with you. The color is lovely, subtle. A classy grey.
