J Brand proves that the denim movement toward straight and skinny is hardly a trend. With an absolutely clean, anonymous back pocket and sophisticated lines, these jeans are already a classic set for the ages.
I love these jeans they are the perfect skinny for someone who doesn't have really skinny legs (or even if you do have skinny legs they will still look great)! as they are kind of a straight skinny rather than the 10" which is too skinny on me. They are a really nice dark wash which is great for night or day. I am a 28/29 in most jeans and I bought these in the 29 although I can fit into the 28 I bought the 29 as they were more comfortable and after wearing them lots of times I have found they haven't really stretched that much. I also have them in the Dark Vintage and I would say that the Ink wash is probably about 1/2 a size bigger than the Dark Vintage wash because I could not have worn the 28 in those. Its difficult to say whether or not they are true to size because I am really in between sizes. If you are like me you could probably go either size in these and they would both be fine but if you are buying the Dark Vintage stick with your most common size.
I'm so glad I read the reviews and ordered a size smaller than usual because these have got a lot of stretch. I'm a 26" in Lucky Brand and most jeans because of my hips, though I realized I tend to wear a belt, so maybe I am really a size 25, or these are a size big. I was worried the inseam would be too long, since I'm 5'5" and usually wear 31-32" but it's fine, since the pencil leg bunches nicely at the bottom.
If you're having a hard time finding flattering skinny jeans, BUY THESE NOW. I've been searching for months for a good pair of skinnies that don't make my legs look like ice cream cones and these are it! I'm 5'7, about 145 lbs, for reference. You know that upper inner thigh area where all the fat seems to nestle? These jeans smooth that out, making the whole leg look long and lean. I'm pretty much always a 29 and that's what I bought and they fit great. If I wanted the uber tight look, I could have sized down but I didn't want to go through the muffin top phase. The waist seems to be the stretchiest part of the jeans to me. J brand is no doubt my favorite jean brand and I wish I had bought these months ago and saved myself the time! If you're looking for flattery, look no further :)
Bought these jeans in 25 and they fit pretty well. I'm about 168cm and 51kg. They are very fitted at the thighs and knees at first but will probably stretch out abit later. And they are about an inch or so too long for me but still ok to wear without hemming. The waistband is a tiny bit loose so it slides down a little at the back but it's not a big deal (note though I have a pretty straight/flat figure). Overall, the plain dark colour is great and goes with pretty much everything!
