When I purchased these jeans I had really high expectations especially with all the raving reviews. But when I got them and put them on it was WAY too big in the waist, too small in the thighs and looked like it was bunching around the crotch. So i'm returning these in disappointment as they did not fit well at all. I thought they were going to fit like my other J brand pencil jeans but they do not. These jeans are better made for curvier figures. If you want to buy these jeans GET THEM IN A SIZE DOWN.

for the reviewer below who said they were starting to get holes in the inner thigh, J Brand will replace them free of charge. They did that for my 912 inks and my wounded knee pair in dark vintage. I made the mistake of going up a size from 28 to 29 in my 912 inks and totally regret it. Though I've lost quite a bit of weight since I first got my 28s, know matter what your size, these don't look their best unless they are as snug as possible. They stretch out at the waist, which is somewhat helpful, but that slimming effect on your thighs/legs doesn't happen when you find a "comfortable" size. Also, the super dark color of the ink wash and the cut put together are really good at not making it look like your jeans are too tight even if they feel like to you.

These are miracle jeans, I swear. I'm peared shaped so I'm often wary about skinny jeans, but these are so great! They make my legs look so skinny because the colour and cut is really flattering. I have 2 pairs in this same colour because I wear them all the time. I'm usually a size 27 in TR, R&R and Rich and Skinny and these fit true to size. Had to alter the length a bit though because I'm 5"6. The material is stretchy and the right amount of thickness, so it's perfect for both cold and warm weather. The colour is great too because you can dress it up with a cute flowy top and ballet flats or keep it casual with a tank top and chuck taylors.

The Ink wash is a staple for a girl's wardrobe.Very chic!You can dress them up easily.It runs half a size big but it still looks good.I got a 23, but if I could size down I would, because I like my jeans to have a tighter fit .For reference my measurments are :waist 23", hips 33".I love J Brand because they know how to make jeans that flatter a woman's figure.

I LOVE the wash of these jeans, and the fit is pretty good. I'm 5'9 and I'm a size 29 in most denim (SFAM, Nudie). These jeans fit REALLY snug around the legs and, like many other have mentioned, are quite stretchy around the waist. I always have to wear a belt with these. However, my MAJOR complaint is that the denim is too thin... I started to get holes in the inner-thigh area after about 2 months' wear. There is also a hole forming where the knee bends. I don't think buying a bigger size would help because my 29s won't stay up without a belt, and I think sizing down would've made the holes even worse. For this reason, I'm probably not going to buy another pair of J brands.
