I'd definitely recommend sizing up in order to get the baggie effect. I love One Teaspoon, but my issue with them is their inconsistent sizing. I am more of a true 28-29, but had to go to 30 to create the desired baggie style. One could always stick with their regular size, but you'll have more of a tight, fitted style.
I am obsessed with this brand and these jeans. Just bought shorts from them on this site as well. Its a baggie fit jean. I sized up one for it to sit low on my hips. I have bigger thighs so I sized up because of that as well. I'd say take your true size to get a slight baggie fit and one sz up or 2 to get the more baggie effect. I normally wear a 27 in Jbrand, 26 rag and bone, 26 current elliot, and I got a 27 in these. So basically it is up to how you want the fit.
