Los Angeles-based denim vets Tim Kaeding and Lela Tillem debuted MOTHER in the fall of 2010. Their collection offers a stellar fit, ultra comfort, and denim made from fabrics that are soft, stretchy, and cashmere-like. Expect your favorite styles reinvented along with bell bottoms and not-too-skinny skinnies.

I 100% agree with the other 2 buyers,I bought them in size 27 and I normally wear size 26 0r 27 .it was so tight that I could not even walk in them,I returned them, I was walking in the mall few days ago and saw them in the store, I wore size 28 since 27 was too tight ,it was still tight and horrible, it is made for some one who has a squre shape. no place for butt cheeks, hips ,tighs and too weird all over so I went up a size again and tried 29, the waist was so big that if I sat down you could see my whole rear end showing but still so very tight every where else and I do not have big hipsor tighs,so it is very strange how they made them, I think there is no stretch to them because if it was ,it would have ruin the print.I absoloutely love the print but hate the way it fits.
Normally, MOTHER jeans fit like they were made for me - so incredibly flattering and comfy. I have been eagerly awaiting these beauties for a long long time, so I am so disappointed because it seems that with the "special" jeans (eg. Golden Nuggets of Lust) and these, the stretchy, comfy fit is lost! I have athletic legs (my calves are approx 15 inches) and I couldn't even get these onto my legs! I'm sure sizing up wouldn't help. Unfortunately, the vibrant print also exaggerates the size of my calves. I really hoped these jeans would look amazing on me but they just don't work. :(
