At Loeffler Randall they have set out to create the perfect lifestyle assortment for the chic, modern girl - from the ultimate ballerina flat to the perfect pump, and then some. They have created a collection that possess an understated elegance and are well cut and undeniably feminine. Success at last.
I've been wondering what's going on with Loeffler Randall lately. They used to make such comfy, wearable shoes (at about half of their current prices), and now their styles are all a bit over the top. The Kiera was no exception as I kept seeing pictures of them online. The snap buttons, the crazy criss-crossing, it's all just a bit much, right? Then I saw them in-store and did a complete 180. These shoes are fantastic - the black ones have this tough, rock-and-roll edge and are perfect with skinny jeans. In fact, I had a very hard time not buying them right then and there, but like I said, their prices have gone way up from their first few collections. The comfort is still there - I think there's a 1" platform, so they feel like 3.5" heels. The leather is super soft, and all four buttons can be unsnapped. The snap button at the top has two corresponding "bottoms" so they can accommodate a wider or narrower ankle. I'm a slightly wide 8, and the 8s fit perfectly. I tried on 8.5s, too, and they also fit, except my toes didn't show as much in the peep toe.
