For those of you who are searching for a review of this dress that will justify buying a $300 white summer dress - here it is. I waffled back and forth on buying this, after all, $300 is a lot for a summer dress that I figured would have to be retired after summer. Let me tell you, it's much more than a throwaway summer dress. The quality was really the first thing that struck me. Joie has always been great with silks, soft flowy blouses that look great on just about everyone, but they really stepped up their game with this dress. It's made out of a thicker, textured cotton (something you'd typically see from milly or tory burch) and the fit is incredible. For reference, I'm about 5'7, 34C, 25/26 waist and this fit me in size small as if someone had made it for me. I can go on and on about how it can be dressed up or down, and how figure flattering it is, and how girls in their LBD's had instead invested in an LWD but instead I'll just recommend strongly that you buy it, and thank me later.
