James Jeans has created a denim masterpiece with illusion inducing angled back pockets, higher in the back waistband, and fit focused wash detailing, all of which results in a jean that makes you feel longer, leaner and generally runway ready.
These jeans look awesome - i always get comments on how cool they are. They fit like jeggings and the fabric is thin and very soft. If you want a coarser denim feel that are not skin tight, these are not for you. I actually find these to be quite comfortable, more so than normal skinny denim and i can wear them for hours and hours without feeling uncomfortable. The front rise is about 1 inch higher than what i would normally like but i just deal with it. Back rise is also sufficient so if you have junk in your trunk it will be covered! Very snug fitting from hips to ankles but fabric is soft and very stretchy so they are still comfortable. Pair them with booties or ankle boots with some stud detailing for a killer look. I always wear chunky chains and leather studded jewelry and accessories to complete the edgy look. LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!!
First of all, these jeans are monstrously attractive in person. The moto styling looks fantastic and the fading is subtle enough to add texture without being totally sandblasted. The material is on the thin side, but sturdy enough to still qualify as bona fide "jean" rather than "legging". HOWEVER... oh man, the sizing! I am a 26 is most denim brands, sometimes have to size up, rarely down. I bought the 25 after reading that James Jeans fit tight in the leg and large in the waist; do they ever! The 25 fits very comfortably, and there is lots of stretch. But if you have larger thighs or if you are not a fan of the total skintight toothpick-leg-look from ass to ankles, then stay away. I had to pry the ankle openings over my feet... never have I ever owned jeans so skinny. Hope this helps a bit for those curious about fit and sizing!
