The quality of the faux leather is excellent; it's so soft and buttery, it feels like real leather. I took the advice of the previous reviewer and purchased a size smaller (4) than what I usually wear (6). But even then, the waist was TOO large. (As an FYI, these leggings are meant to sit at your waist; they're not low riders.) The problem is that there really isn't elastic in the waistband and the faux leather obviously has no stretch. So, a big waistband helps me to pull the leggings over my hips and butt BUT, the lack of stretch/elastic in the waistband means that the waistband does not "shrink" or recoil around my waist.. The overall result: Fitted over my calves, thighs, and butt (because of the stretchy material on the backside), loose/baggy around my pelvic area, and really loose around my waist. I did not order a size 2 because I figured I would not be able to pull the leggings up past my hips/butt - and I do have hips and a bubble butt. :) I would recommend ordering a size down (or even two) if you do not have a lot of curves. If you do have curves, you might want to get these pants tailored around the waist area. Hope this helps! Note: I actually purchased these leggings from another site but I wanted to post a review here to help y'all.
LOVE these leggings - they look and feel like real leather (plus high quality fabric) and look way more expensive than they are! However, they seemed to run slightly large and I had to return them. I am normally a 0/XS and I ordered the 0 and they were gigantic. And, you definitely want these pants to be fitted. I would recommend ordering a full size down unless you are normally in between sizes. If you're a 0, you might be better off with a different brand.
