The oldest continuously operating shoe company in the US hasn't missed a beat with its commitment to classic American styling. Fashion's temperamental tastes may come and fade away but we know where to go for an unfussy, wearable, workable boot. Now bring on this season's skinny jeans.
I've had these shoes for about 2 years. I have wide dancer calves and these boots accommodate them stylishly without help from a cobbler. The only issue I had when I first received the boots was that the fit wider near my knee, making the shoes look slightly like rainboots. Now, after 2 years of steady use, the ankle is stretching more than I'd like. These boots have been my go-to pair as they are (were) very comfortable and versatile - I'm sad that I'll have to retire them soon.
these boots are very nice with perfectly supple leather and comfort. they are pull-on boots, though, and are cut wider at the ankle than I had pictured in my mind. so even though their overall look is pretty sleek compared to most other frye's, they're not the fitted narrow shaft look at all. they've grown on me, but they're not exactly what I expected.
