Size down a tiny bit...but really only if you're generally in between sizes. ?I'm usually stuck between a medium and a large, and the medium fit me perfectly.Sizing aside, this thing is flippin' beautiful, and the construction is just top notch. ?I am thoroughly impressed, and while I've owned a lot of Filson bags, this is my first piece of Filson outerwear...and it most certainly will not be the last. ?The lining is really nice (takes the bit/itch out of the wool wherever you skin touches the coat), although your neck will still hit the top of the collar...but that's unavoidable unless you wanted the lining to go over the collar, and that would just look bad. ?A few wears and that wool will soften right up, and if you want to speed up that process, just put a little hair conditioner on the problem areas. The jacket is nice and warm, but because it's wool, it's still nice and breathable. ?I got a compliment on it the very first day I wore it, and have received many since then, too. ?Given it's not very showy/peacocky, I think these compliments were said in earnest, and I can really see why. ?It's just a damn looking coat that is classic and versatile, but just a touch of uniqueness to give a sense of style. ?It's nice enough to wear out on the town, but I can also work in the woods with it. ?A downright perfect coat for my needs.Would (and will) buy again.
