Diane von Furstenberg first arrived in the fashion world in 1972 with her iconic wrap dress, the seed of what is today a full fashion house. By 1976, Diane had sold millions of her dresses, coming to symbolize female power and freedom to an entire generation. In 1997, after a hiatus from fashion, Diane reemerged on the New York fashion scene with the re-launch of the dress that had started it all and began transforming her company into the global luxury lifestyle brand it is today.
Ankle strap is large but doesnt compromise fit or walking. The back zipper does rub against ankle with initial few wears. Shoe is very light and makes walking with the high heel easy. Is narrow and fits my feet perfectly. Would not recommend for customers with wide feet. tight and snug in the first strap. I receive compliments all the time for the architectural heel design! Can be worn with tights too!
Love this shoe. I own a couple dvf shoes from last year and they fit true to size. But this shoe was definately a half size larger. I would say I am a true size 7, my feet are neither wide nor too narrow, although I would consider my feet more narrow than wide if I had to pick one. I ordered the 6.5 and they fit perfectly, but my feet do slide forward a bit because the fabric on the inside doesn't grip my foot also the wedge is quite high so it pushes my foot forward, so I put foot pedals in the shoe and they fit better as a result. The ankle part is little loose, but doesn't compromise the comfort or the ability to walk in them. They are actually very comfortable to walk despite the high wedge because the rubberized sole makes it quite stable.
