Diane von Furstenberg first arrived in the fashion world in 1972 with her iconic wrap dress, the seed of what is today a full fashion house. By 1976, Diane had sold millions of her dresses, coming to symbolize female power and freedom to an entire generation. In 1997, after a hiatus from fashion, Diane reemerged on the New York fashion scene with the re-launch of the dress that had started it all and began transforming her company into the global luxury lifestyle brand it is today.
I wish the heel height was about an inch lower it is around a 4' heel, and the platform is not as thick as it appears in the photo. that said, they are far more comfortable than most 4' heels . . . I got the green pair, and they are not NEARLY as green as the photo indicates. I was at first disappointed, but the color is beautiful in its way just not as vibrant as the picture on my monitor. they are fitting true to size . . . I've never felt a pair of ankle boots that was so soft there is no binding on the ankle - even if you turn the folded cuff over and lace it up (it has laces that allow it to be worn either way). Just a great shoe if you can stand the height.
