About Paper Denim and Cloth
How did a brand with no marketing, no advertising, and no PR, become one of the most demanded denim labels by fashionistas world wide? By producing a no nonsense jean with the attention to detail denim connoisseurs demand. Its not uncommon for Paper fans to not only have one pair in every wash, but multiple pair of the same wash!.
Popular Paper Denim Styles
If you are new to Paper Denim, you may want to know which are the styles that every girl should own! Paper makes mostly non-stretch, 100% cotton jeans, so the few stretch jeans that they make are among the most popular styles. Paper Denim strech styles include the Super Low Fade, Super Low Blue Fusion, and Low Vision, all of which are very popular. Among the 100% cotton jeans, the Low 1 Year, Super Low 2 Year, Super Low Ripper, and Trouser Style Madcap are the most popular styles. Probably the most popular (and distinctive) is the Ripper, we can hardly keep in stock!.
Body Styles
Paper Denim keeps things simple with only a few, great fitting body styles. The Super Low Rise and Low Rise bodies are the classic fits, with low rises and a moderate flare. The Low Rise is about 0.5"-.75" higher than the Super Low Rise. Paper Denim's newer body styles include the X-Low Slash Pocket Trouser, Classic 5 Pocket Boot Cut, and X-Low Flare. The Trouser style is a great body if you're looking for something a little different, and the Boot Cut is good if you like your jeans without much of a flare.
Washes
Paper Denim is known for their wide selection of great washes and lightweight, weathered denim. Popular washes include the Ripper, Fade, Blue Fusion, 1 Year, 2 Year, and Vision. The 1 Year and 2 Year washes look exactly like you would expect as if your jeans had been worn for that amount of time. The Ripper looks like - well, lets just say you didn't take good care of your jeans. We offer over 25 different washes from Paper Denim, so probably the best way to see what you like is to just continue browsing on the site!
How They Fit
Paper Denim jeans are made from the some of the most comfortable, lightweight cotton you'll ever experience. Imported from Japan and Italy, the dual-ringspun denim will make your body look as great as your jeans feel! Inseams typically run between 32" and 34", depending on the size of the jean and the style.
Determining Your Size
If you wear other designer jeans sized in the 23-32 range, you can determine your size very easily. Paper Denim runs true to size for most figures, but does stretch slightly with wear. If you are between sizes, you may want to size down.
How Designer Jeans Fit
Designer jeans are sized according to your waist size (measured in inches), and typically run from sizes 23 - 32. However, as the jeans ride on the the hips, and not the waist, the actual size of the jean opening tends to run from 5 to 6 inches larger than the stated waist. You can use your dress size to obtain a reasonable approximation of your jean size. If you think you may be between sizes, you may want to consider purchasing both sizes and returning the one that doesn't fit.
