About AG Jeans  The genius behind AG Jeans is their pioneering namesake, Adriano Goldschmied, known in Europe as the "Guru of Diesel"! Formed in mid 2001, AG has hit the fashion scene with an excitement not seen since the original designer denim craze. AG features a diverse range of proprietary washes in several basic fits specifically tailored for both slim and curvy body types. Popular AG Jeans Styles If you are new to AG Jeans, you may want to know which are the styles that every girl should own! The most popular styles for the slimmer, Angel cut are the dark washed Infinite and Screen styles, and the lighter washed Origin, Paradise and Splendid styles. For the Legend body, the Fusion and Floating are popular washes. The Fusion is a great looking, medium colored, distressed wash. The Floating is a dark, super-soft wash which is just amazing on. Body Styles AG keeps things simple with only a few, great fitting body styles. Slimmer body types swear by the Angel body from the moment they first try it! For the girl with a few extra curves, the Legend body fits great. Both the Angel and Legend bodies come in stretch and non stretch denim, depending on your preference. How They Fit Adriano Goldschmied jeans are probably best known for their fit, which is custom tailored to your body type. If you have a slim figure or love brands like Blue Cult, be sure to try the Angel and you'll never go back ;). If you have trouble with jeans gaping at the waist or being too tight on the legs and butt, you'll love the Legend body. Inseams typically run at about 32.5". AG jeans are made in a longer, 34" inseam, but as of this writing we don't carry these. Determining Your Size If you wear other designer jeans sized in the 23-32 range, you can determine your Adriano Goldschmied size very easily. The AG Angel runs true to size and fits similar to Blue Cult bodies. The Legend runs true to size as well, but you should find that you can go down one size because it is cut to fit your figure better. How Designer Jeans Fit Designer jeans are sized according to your waist size (measured in inches), and typically run from sizes 23 - 32. However, as the jeans ride on the the hips, and not the waist, the actual size of the jean opening tends to run from 5 to 6 inches larger than the stated waist. You can use your dress size to obtain a reasonable approximation of your jean size. If you think you may be between sizes, you may want to consider purchasing both sizes and returning the one that doesn't fit.
