Winslow = classic wingtip steampunk boot coolness. Almost makes me wish I was a boy, except being a girl is so much fun. Pretty obsessive-worthy. No surprise in the Bowery Bicycle connection, which is equally obsessive-worthy. I could put the boots in my sweet wooden basket and offer them to the cutest boy I see!

The Tsubo Wexler in Black shoes are just BEGGING to get on my sweetie's feet so we can go out dancing. I love the classy, retro look paired with the comfort and sport of the Tsubo brand. I can picture us perfecting our Lindy Hop without a single blister in these!

My favourite is the Winston boot; it's perfect parts classic, rugged, and sophisticated. I love the orange midsole to brighten up the vintage worn coloring. I'm a woman who appreciates a good menswear shoe and I would wear these puppies (obviously in the smallest size available!!) on my Bowery Lane Bicycle, trudging to work from BK to Manhattan and everywhere in between. I might even get my boyfriend a pair (not to be worn simultaneously, of course. That's not how we roll).

Jumping up and down and waving to get your attention from sunny and, currently, muggy San Diego, CA. My husband would love the Tung in black. He wouldn't do the internet thing so I'm doing it on his behalf. I've got a Townie but your great bikes and those crates and woven baskets just scream "ride me and use me up" to this old lady who loves styling around town.

One of my favorite shoes is the Tsubo Winslow Boot. Because it pays homage to one of the best TV shows of the early 90s, "Family Matters." A true testament to Mr. Carl Otis Winslow; A police officer by day father by night and one that has true classic style. The boot merges the classic style and profile of a workwear shoe with a modern clasp that wraps around the back ankle to give it that early 90s twist. A true shoe to be worn while on duty or while kicking you pesky neighbor out of your house. This boot is definitely something Urkle would not wear.

The "Winslow" is a perfect recreation of the classic English brogue, suitable for jeans to tweeds. Wine hill, is the meaning of "Winslow" and is exactly where I would ride in my bike-friendly town surrounded by vineyards. I have been meaning to get a new bike and this Tsubo bicycle would make me the happiest girl in the world. I would ride it along the ocean in monterey to show off just how amazing it is! I would pair this fantastic custom bicycle with a cute outfit from revolve so that i could catch everyones eye as I gracefully glide by! Owning this bike would be a dream!

Definitely the Winslow. The derby style boot mixed with the harness like side detail gives it a modern touch that would compliment my style. I'd probably wear them with bright yellow socks and cuffed denim. (Cuffed enough so that my jeans wouldn't get caught in the chain of my new Bowery Lane bike).

Animal Instinct For AW11: Drew, Elle, And Mandy

We've spotted a handful of celebs sporting animal print pants as of late. Could this be a new trend for AW11? To make sure, we studied a few trusty runways and found that yes, in fact, animal-print pants are definitely a spot to watch for fall. Although the print is heavy on the wild, don't be afraid to wear these printed pants like you would everyday denim or a laid-back trouser, they're suprisingly versatile. Try for day and night, dressed down with a T-shirt (like Drew), or up with a blazer and cami (note how Elle styled her harems as an example here). We're also loving the pants finished with a cute ballerina flat, like Mandy Moore wore with hers. To get you started, check out the cheetah-print Night and Day pants by Lovers + Friends. Like the name suggests, you can wear these super-soft, loose-fit pants pretty much anytime, anywhere, with basically anything. Another style to love is the Current/Elliott rocker-ready leopard print denim. Yes, please!

Q&A With Amanda Moss of Covet: Defining Canadian Fashion One Mojito At A Time

How did you get started designing?
I left my small town in Newfoundland to study fashion design in Montreal. Shortly after graduation, I was hired as an assistant designer for a local menswear line . After a few years of menswear I moved on to design for a couple of different women?s collections in Montreal, before taking over as Creative Director of Covet in 2009.

How would you describe the Covet girl?
Very feminine. Covet styles and fabrics are soft and flowy. Color palette is often muted natural tones.

What?s one thing every girl needs in her closet for summer?
Dresses! Knee length, midi, or maxi. Dresses every day!

Q&A with Covet

Do you have a favorite trend you're shopping this season?
I'm still addicted to dresses, but this season, I'm experimenting a lot more with longer lengths... just below the knee to ¾ length. It's refreshing, after a couple of years of "shorter is better!"

You're based in Canada, what is Canadian fashion like? How is it different from other places you've visited?
In Montreal there is an amazing art and music scene. So many people on the street have great individual style. People are not afraid to mix vintage and new. In the winter it's very cold... you have to be very clever to maintain your style, while staying warm and dry.
It's hard to say exactly how Canadian differs from other countries, in terms of style. In general I wouldn't consider Canada to be a trendsetting nation as whole, like Japan or France or, my personal favorite, Sweden!

You work a lot with sustainable and organic fabrics, how does this shape your design process?
Thankfully sustainable and organic fibres are becoming more readily available each season. A lot of the fabrics used in the collection are extremely soft. The fabrics themselves set the general tone for the collection from one season to the next.

What influences your own personal style?
The same things that inspire my work often influence my personal style. I travel a lot and love seeing how others are dressed.

Where/ what is your ultimate dream summer vacation? And what will you pack?
I don't know if I would call this my dream vacation, but recently I've become consumed by the idea of travelling to the land of the midnight sun! Could be northern Canada or Iceland, I haven't really worked out the details, I just cant think of anything better than constant light!
I think I would just wander around in long jersey dresses and chunky cardigans from the fall collection!

Q&A with Covet

What is your favorite summer cocktail?
Just one?!!! OK. Mojito!

What's on your summer playlist?
I can?t stop listening to Not Fade Away by Florence + The Machine from Rave On Buddy Holly (I'm actually really enjoying the whole album!)
