"Factory Girl Meets La Boheme" - an intriguing inspiration for Tart's summer collection. Think Jackie-O mini dresses with belled sleeves, Moroccan-inspired muumuus and Twiggy-ish bubble shapes in a gorgeous hues and bold prints. We love the blue fern print and the free lovin' feather print. Flirty details like empire waists, braided trims, and inverted pleats add depth to the line's signature micro-modal jersey. The luxe stretch jersey and body-skimming drape is reminiscent of Rachel Palley designs with a subtle bohemian twist.

Known for its feminine, flirtatious fits that straddle easy wearability and sexy, body-conscous cuts, Tart is the contemporary sportswear collection in the Tart family. The Tart Collections dynasty includes Tart and three sleepwear/loungewear lines - Tart Intimates, Lemon Tart and Sweet Tart for juniors. Founded by husband-and-wife team, Jamie and Dana Finegold, Tart's playful shapes and palettes are the creation of lead designer, Sherry Wood. Wood originally trendspotted for the company and now actively carries out her vision of bold colors, strong lines and inspirations from the 1920s, '60s and '70s.

Tart's understated sexiness has attracted stylish stars like Eva Longoria, Carmen Electra, Jessica Simpson, and Sandra Oh. The drapey jersey tops and dresses have also garnered near constant press coverage in the celeb weeklies as well as in glossies like Lucky, WWD, InStyle, and Marie Claire. Who knew Tart could be so sweet?

Life & Style magazine revisits the colored denim trend for summer in this week's issue. From stretchy skinnies to '80s ankle zips to booty-flattering pockets, bold, bright denim isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Plus, the vibrant colors work well for hot summer nights when you're lookin' to get a little bit wild.

Fergie rocked the look at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada last week. She not only wear vibrant skinnies, she plays up the color with vamp-y red heels. Red and turquoise is one of my favorite color combinations, too.

What do you think? How do you like your denim? If you dare to wear colorful jeans, what color(s) do you prefer?

(Psst! Those turquoise Denim of Virtue jeans, pictured above, are on sale, too!)

I've seen lots of cute girls out and about at bars wearing brightly colored jeans and I say, more power to them! It's a very fun look.

I think that there have been many who have totally rocked this trend -- but I tend to like to buy pieces that are more of an investment (like J Brand cigarette jeans in dark denim) which will last forever and always look great. Now, I might have splurged $85 for a pair but unfortunately revolve doesn't have my size...

I haven't seen this trend in the real world much either. I've seen it on celebrities, but that's about it. I think it's cute on some people. I don't think I like it for myself. Not my style.

There are many, many reasons why we love Laura Poretzky of Abaeté. Her flirty, mod dresses, her New York-meets-Rio point-of-view, her uptown-downtown vibe, and the list goes on. Looks like fab fashion site,, feels the same way we do.

Fashionista posted a great little interview with the Abaeté designer. Worth a read!

Check out our profile and brief interview with Poretzky, here and here.

And, of course, shop Abaeté @ Revolve.

Flirty, flowing, fabulous frocks. Fluet is all about the easy, breezy feel of silk in an array of vintage-inspired silhouettes. In rich, gorgeous colors and mod prints, Fluet dresses can be thrown on, no matter what your mood. And with a ton of buzz among fashion insiders and exclusive boutique owners, Fluet earns you big points for fashion cred.

Inspired by the vintage, A-line dresses worn by Twiggy and Mia Farrow, Fluet's fun frocks are detail-oriented with smocking, puffed sleeves, empire waists, and trapeze shapes. And the line's perfect balance of flowy silk and skimming seams flatters the good stuff and cleverly disguises your not-quite-perfect parts. Smart and pretty - a combination we love!

The July issue of InStyle magazine highlights the bright, bold colors and shapes of the summer's hottest halter dresses, including this retro floral frock from Susana Monaco. From day to night, halter dresses can go casual with flip-flops or cosmopolitan with glam accents. And as InStyle suggests, dressing up a halter is easy. "You won't need a necklace so accessorize with strappy heels, a chic clutch and a pair of showstopping earrings."

Styling tip:
According to famed stylist, Kendall Farr, author of the go-to-guide, The Pocket Stylist, halter cuts work best if your shoulders aren't sloping or significantly narrower than your lower body. Halters look superb on curvy, bombshell bodies (deep, plunging V-neck draws attention to the d???©colletage) as well as on straighter, boyish frames (adds curves), advises Farr. For those with very broad shoulders, watch out for halters that visually cut into your shoulders with an extremely diagonal line (this can exaggerate their width).

And, voila! You're ready for halter hotness!
