How did you get started designing denim?
I started designing denim in a natural way. At 16 I was a model in New York with Elite. A few years later, I became a fit model for the most popular denim brands in the US, such as Guess, Seven For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, Blue Cult, and True Religion. After reaching the top of my success as a fit model and working for all male designers, I decided to start my own company and design denim from a female perspective.

How do you think Paige denim has evolved since its debut in 2005?
Paige Denim has certainly evolved into a fashion denim brand. Not only are we leaders in fit with great basics, but we also have cutting edge fashion. Our women's business has continued to grow throughout the years and we now offer great ponti knits, leather jackets, and non- denim fabrics that are unique and special. We also have an amazing men's line that has amazing styles, fabrics, and finishes.

How would you describe the Paige girl?
The Paige girl is fashion forward, sophisticated, feminine, and sexy.

Do you have a favorite style of Paige denim?
My favorite Paige style is the Lou Lou tulip jean. The Lou Lou stays skinny through the legs then starts to flare above the ankle over your shoes. I love wearing them with wedges or platforms—they make my legs look miles long! I always feel sexy in them.

You're based in California, what do you love about living on the West Coast?
I love living on the West Coast mainly because of the weather. I am a big fan of hiking and I love being outside in the sun taking strolls on the beach. Also, California is close to Cabo San Lucas, which is one of my favorite vacation spots.
