Last week, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week rolled into Los Angeles and brought celebs, designers, models and press out in droves. This year's dark, gothic-tinged feel proved that Los Angeles is more than sunshine and palm trees. Four of our favorite Revolve designers wowed the crowds at the shows: Ed Hardy, Literature Noir (the new sister line from Literature), Monarchy and Grail.

Elle.com's Fashion Week Spotlight highlights the "best of the Left Coast," with several frames devoted to the edgy new leather-heavy line from Literature Noir. Style.com notes that corsets were a dominant trend throughout the darkly-themed shows. The corset motif "amp[ed] up the sexy quotient of Monarchy designer Eric Kim's preppy-punk looks (much to the delight of front-rowers Dustin Hoffman and Jeremy Piven)," notes style.com scribe Pauline O'Connor. And finally, the Ed Hardy show made waves with the much-talked about Janice Dickinson drama that got her banned for life from all IMG fashion week events. Look for new arrivals from our L.A. fashion week designers coming soon!

Since Revolve is the - ahem - only online shop where you can currently buy Fidelity Jeans, we thought it fitting to post their new guide to perfect pockets. Known for their incredible fit and vintage styling, Fidelity Jeans combine a passion for rock 'n roll, a reverence for classic American blue jeans, and a deep knowledge of fashion.

Fidelity's founder and designer, Jason Trotzuk, came up with this handy little "Picture Perfect Pocket Placement" guide to make sure that you're always looking fly in your button-flys (or zippers!). Trotzuk has offered denim fit advice on E!, CNN, and Fox News and Fidelity Jeans have graced the posteriors of folks on The OC, TRL, Desperate Housewives and America's Next Top Model. In other words, this guy knows what he's talking about...

Channel your inner goddess with these Grecian-inspired styles. The look is all about fluid, draping fabrics, gold and rope accents, and strappy flat sandals.

Grecian style has been all over the red carpet - hello J. Lo! - and is big for spring's sunny, windswept vibe. Lucky says that "sultry, figure-skimming Grecian looks become totally contemporary in relaxed, drapey fabrics." That means ultra-fine jersey with soft curves and intricate gathers that skims the body without hugging too tightly. The look is dreamy and ethereal but jersey keeps it low-key and versatile. And shimmering golds and bronzes are the perfect complement to summery skin.

Shop the look, as pictured above:

Statuesque Dresses:
Layered fine drapery and soft micro pleating give dresses, shirts, tops and skirts a sense of floaty femininity.
-Mint Grecian Mini Dress in Black on Black
-Ella Moss Melody Chain Lined Mini Dress in Vanilla

Goddess Blouses:
Intricate gathers make even a tank show-stopping.
-Bailey 44 Tri Color Woven Top in Mercury/Bisque
-Ella Moss Hepburn Layered Grecian Cami in Jade
-Ella Moss Sabrina Braided Tie Cami in Vanilla (The earthy rope belt offsets the cling of the wrap shape.)

Gold Statement-Making Jewelry:
The delicate charms look like grape leaves fit for a Grecian goddess.
-Citrine by the Stones Laella Leaf Drop Earring in Gold
-Citrine by the Stones Leaf Charm Bracelet in Clear Stone
Another Grecian jewelry tip from Lucky: Mix in layers of exotic necklaces that catch the light.

Girly Gladiator Sandals:
With their flat base and ornate detailing, Grecian sandals are both comfortable and stylish.
-Twelfth Street Helms Roman Sandals in Navy

Top off the look with a ruched shoulder bag that echoes the curves of the clothing or with a rope-adorned leather tote to keep the Grecian inspiration alive.

To embody the Grecian trend, one thing is clear: no togas allowed!

We're going wild for safari-style animal prints this season. And this new dress by Abaeté hits the trend on the head. The mocha brown-on-white pattern is both animalistic and subtly mod while the pintuck pleats in front keep it crisp, streamlined and oh-so-flattering.

Shop the Abaeté Sabrina Dress here.

Entering the Animal Kingdom: Styling Tips

Working the animal print look can be tricky and this month's Lucky has some tricks of the trade for getting it exactly right.

For brown-hued animal prints like leopard and this Abaeté dress, here are the rules:
  • Stick to the traditional black, brown and white combo in deep, rich hues
  • For clothing, lightweight, fluid fabrics that drape well work best
  • Don't go big. Generally speaking, keep prints small for a more "realistic" effect

For black-and-white zebra-style prints, read on:
  • Big prints play up the graphic quality of zebra stripes
  • Simple, clean lines without ruffles or flounce keep the look crisp
  • Be a purist. Stick with stark black-and-white for high drama, rather than shades of grey

Who: AWASH

When: Repping his new showroom, Cyana Lab, at the Project trade show in Vegas last month

As for style inspiration? AWASH draws from a range of people, places, and things. He says he's "really into the '80s look" and music gets his creativity flowing. "I get inspired by all kinds of music, from R&B to jazz to rock to electro and techno. And I read a lot of European fashion magazines."

How: AWASH's outrageous style - lens-less glasses included, obviously - is tough to pull off, but we're here to help.
