The Look: "Cool Hand Luke"

The Visionary: Cassidy, Revolve's Men's Buyer

Cassidy says:
Shades of Greige is my new obsession. It covers every category for men, from jackets and vests to button-ups, pants, and tees. Whether you're a classic type or someone who thinks outside the box when it comes to style, this collection covers all genres.

I'm a sucker for a man in trousers and sneakers (hint hint!!). The trouser is a great alternative to denim that dresses up your outfit and the sneakers give it an edge. A simple Henley keeps it clean and a faux leather hoodie adds a sleek finish without the heavy price of real leather. For a more conservative style, swap out the sneakers with a refined dress shoe to polish the look.

This outfit is good for hanging out with the boys or taking your lady to a movie. Whatever it may be, you will be both comfortable and very fashion savvy!!! Enjoy...

Chester, in his Ve'cel Kiss Me Deadly Tee says, "My life is fashion. My life is music. My life is art."

Chester Bennington is better known for his scream-y vocal stylings than for his sartorial vision. The Linkin Park singer -- often seen onstage in just an undershirt, jeans and boots -- channels his passion for music, art, and the rocker lifestyle into his new clothing line, Ve'cel (pronounced "Vee Sell").

blog_vecel1.jpg Cool tees with custom graphics reflect Bennington's punk rock sensibilities and tough edge. Custom graphics -- inspired by tattoo culture -- are created by Bennngton's partner, Josh Merrell, owner of Liquid Graphics in Irvine, Calif. Together, they envision clothing that reflects their own tastes and those of Bennington's fans.

"Dude, I'm a rock star," he tells The OC Register. "It's a reflection of who you are. Typically, whatever style of music you're primarily into is kind of reflected in how you dress and how you live your life. It's interesting how they work together. It's always been that way."

Chester dishes on Ve'cel in Vegas.

The Look: "Party Pretty"

The Visionary: Stylish buyer, Ashley

Ashley says:
This look is great for a cocktail party or for a festive New Year's Eve night out. It's the perfect mix of classic and fun and I love the graphic look of black with white.

The high waist has come in and out of fashion for decades. This dress has a great 1940s feel with the high waist and ruffled top. And because it's one piece (that looks like two), you don't have to worry about finding the right top or tucking it in all night long.

Throw this cute patent leather clutch under your arm and it adds some color and texture to the outfit. A bold splash of red is always great against black-and-white. I also wanted a little bit of sparkle so I chose these patent leather mary janes with crystal-encrusted heels for a subtle-yet-saucy effect. Perfect for the dance floor!

Happy New Year's!

Styled Thing: You Make My Heart Sing

Tara channels the sexy '70s for this week's edition of "Styled Things."
As always, she picks it, you vote on it..

The Look: "Sleek '70s"

The Visionary: Beloved Buyer, Tara

Tara says:
As the denim buyer at Revolve, naturally, I picked my favorite denim trend of the season, the high-waisted jean. These Stephenson jeans have great pocket details that are meant to be shown off. With the higher waist and fun pockets, you need the perfect top that falls just above the top button. This Madison Marcus blouse is amazing. The bold color stands out against the denim, while the cut shows off the silhouette.

With the high-waisted denim, I really wanted to go for a '70s look. A round-toed shoe in rich chocolate brown is a great way to do that. It's a little bit retro and still very modern. Take this look shopping or on your next lunch date; it's the perfect way to make a statement.
