After launching the dark, skinny jean to style stardom with J Brand's cult stovepipe silhouette, founder Susie Crippin and her friend-partner-luxe-tee-designer Marlena Ruiz are redefining super-soft jersey basics in chic, flattering cuts and go-with-anything colors. Named after vintage children's names Crippen found embroidered on an antique quilt, Riller & Fount infuses modal jersey with the sense of timelessness evoked by its name.

Each dress is available in two lengths - a thigh-high mini (that can also be worn as a top, like Bilson does) and a below-the-knee hem for a more demure look. "We wanted to create a dress line that women will live in and feel comfortable and feel sexy in," Crippin tells WWD. Crippens differentiates the line from other jersey designers, calling it "a lot more classic" in shapes and shades that avert come-and-go trends. Rich, solid hues are print-free so you can add your own twist to create a look that's uniquely you.

I love, love, love these Barbara Bui boots. There is something sophisticated about a flat riding boot and the suede-and-leather combo on these is really fantastic. Perfect for tucking dark, skinny jeans, like these.

Now that the weather is finally cooling down in L.A., this Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent sweater is so perfect. It's so soft and comfy but it still has shape without being too bulky. Cool weather is all about layering James Perse makes the best layering tanks in a flattering, longer length.

When it comes to bags, I need something that will carry my daytime essentials but still looks put-together for night. I love the hardware on the sides of this Rebecca Minkoff tote. It's a little unexpected without being too flashy and the polished leather looks really sleek.

Lindsay Lohan sets off our style radar once again,
