Some things just come naturally to some people. For example, when designer Anine Bing woke up one morning, she decided it'd be a good idea to start making clothes she wanted to wear. Et voila! Her eponymous line of a mere one year old is now the rising line to love, especially from bloggers (Sincerely Jules is a fan), to models (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocks the leather), to us (obviously!). Anine's fully-rounded collection of ready-to-wear, boots, totes, and even hammered jewelry embodies the aesthetic in which she specifically moved to L.A. for: laid-back ease with a touch of rock and roll.
Among her seasonless collection (as in, there is no Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall) comprises of her signature succulent leather moto jackets, hug-in-all-the-right-places denim, airy tees and tanks, and a happy addition of floral-printed and eyelet frocks. Anine's idea of "ongoing designing" is a unique business plan, as she describes her process as just "thinking of what I want to wear next, and then making it." Therefore, trend casting is thrown out the window, and everything you see on the racks is meant to wear right then, right now.
If Anine's studly booties, tight leather pants, pin-thin rings and earrings are of any indication of what we need at this very moment, we say Anine Bing will forever be the current trend.
