Runway Right Now: Raf Simons

Belted elegance atop classic suits abound over on the Raf Simons runway, held at dusk in an old Parisian mansion. Simons added a belted waist to several blazers and long jackets, even going so far as to layer multiple belts on some looks. Skinny sleeves with billowed shoulders, two-toned trenches, bondage-like belted chokers, and rich colors were also spotted during the show.

Kris Van Assche and his palette of black and white cruised the stage today. The collection had a harem and athletic feel to it, featuring lengthy blazers and square-shouldered military jackets juxtaposed with cropped pants; sheer layered tunics; chunky mandals; oversized vests; and plenty of shirts with billowing cowl necks.
