If you thought all sweaters were the same, take another look. Vancouver-based knitwear line Left on Houston shows off their latest collection budding with studded cardigans, lace tanks, and draped double-breasted vests. "People come to us for non-traditional knitwear," says the line's co-founder Danny Hogg. "There's tons of sweaters out there, but we're doing something that's more forward than what people expect out of a knitwear line."
Hogg explains that although they're not big on reworking older styles, reinventing the LOH essentials, mainly the cardigan, is key. "Every season, whether it's fall or spring, we do an array of modern and stylized cardigans," he says. "But we always try tot reinvent the detailing and the styling." Now in their fourth season, the line has "reinvented" their signature cardigans to include silk panels and edgy embellishment while still leaving room for new additions, like their lace patterns and tank vests. These cozy pieces arrive in neutral tones, styled to layer over your favorite spring colors an carry you through summer and into fall.
