The Native Fox, a.k.a Jennifer Grace, is the epitome of cool, laid-back California style with an extra kick of glam. The San Diego native has a totally unique way of mixing varieties of brands and styles, making her one of the most unique gals in the blogosphere. One of her favorite brands include Maurie & Eve, so we sent her a few pieces from their Fall collection for her to work her styling magic. Check out how the foxy lady makes each piece her own, and read our Q&A about her thoughts on fashion.
1.What is the meaning behind the name, Native Fox? My heritage is Native American and Polish, and I'm in love with Native American everything. It was the first name that popped in my head, so I rolled with it.
2. When was the last time you jumped on a trend bandwagon and wish you hadn't? Never. That trend resonated with me at that place and time. Why regret that?
3.Your favorite outfit you posted since the beginning of your blog? A very recent outfit, actually, including a Maurie & Eve wrap top, high slit maxi skirt, Celine sunnies, and Zara heels.
4.What do you love about Maurie & Eve? Their bold prints and feminine aesthetic.
5.Your go-to ensemble when you don't feel like dressing up? Sunnies, white tee, oversized boyfriend jeans, chucks, and a messy bun.
6.Style icons who inspire you and the way your dress? Elin Kling, Miro Duma, Lauren Remington Platt.
7.One rule of thumb when layering for Fall or mixing prints? With layering, make sure you are comfortable, practical, and mix in at least one color. With mixing prints, only mix two at a time, and keep them in the same color palette for a cohesive and effortless mix.
