I ordered these in an 8.5 and I think they are a tiny bit loose, but that's fine, as my feet don't slip in them. (I normally wear an 8.5/9 but tend to order a 9 in everything). They're definitely heavy but I can also tell that the quality is amazing - they are sturdy and will last for a long time. I also noticed that they are quite loose in the calves, which surprises me because my calves are fairly muscular (they are at least 14"). Overall, they have a sexy bad-ass vibe, which will give edge to more girly outfits. However, I think that they will look best on me when I'm wearing straight as opposed to skinny pants - maybe it has to do with where they cut off at my calf. I plan to wear them with jeans and if I wear shorts, leggings or dresses, I will probably wear leg warmers to add some bulk at the top of the boot, or cute Juicy socks. ...

What is a Special Order Inquiry?
A Special Order Inquiry is a request for Revolve to check the availability of your item, and to determine approximately when a special order would arrive. Typically it takes 3-10 days for us to obtain this information, as suppliers are contacted only once a week (at their request, otherwise we would contact them every single day). We then email you, at which point you can decide whether you would like to continue with the special order.

There is no cost or fee associated with inquiries. Feel free to inquire about any item you are interested in.
•
There is no obligation to continue with a special order based on the results of the inquiry. If the item will take too long to arrive, or you simply change your mind, there is no need to continue. By default we do not proceed with a special order, unless you instruct us to do so.
•
When items are in stock at the manufacturer, the wait can range from as few as a couple days to as long as a month. The reason for this variance is that some designers process orders much faster than others. The typical designer takes between one to two weeks to ship the order.

Love these boots, the black color is a little rubbed looking so this adds to the vintagey feel. I would suggest ordering a size or half a size smaller than your normal shoe size as they run a little big. I plan on pairing these with skirts, skinny jeans, and leggings this winter! ...
