Drawing inspiration from her rock-bohemian style, Anine Bings eponymous collection creates clothes that are both easy to wear and made from the finest materials.
I've been looking for a leather jacket for awhile, and I'm happy I finally found the one! Even though it's called the "biker" jacket, the quilting makes it look more classic, while the zippers add a bit of edge. The leather is great quality - very soft / buttery, and the jacket is very comfortable on (not too stiff). I stuck with my usual size, and the jacket is perfect in the shoulders and looks great zipped up / zipped down. The only thing I would say is when the jacket is zipped up, it feels a little tight in the bust area. It's fine for me, but bigger busted girls might have issues with the fit. For reference, I got a XS and I'm 5' 5", 115, and 32C.
I bought this jacket (biker) and the motoand while both jackets are beautiful, I decided to keep the other. ?That being said, the leather on this jacket is a little thicker and gorgeous butter-soft leather, the styling is edgy, the hardware is just rightand the quilting is gorgeous. The fit of this style is not quite as tight as the moto, so in a way, this one would be more practical in terms of layering with a sweater or whatever underneath. ?If I hadn't decided to keep the moto-jacket (or if it had not been available) I would have been totally happy with this one. ?It's truly a gorgeous pieceand pretty much the statement piece of the season. I've had biker jackets beforeand they never really totally go out of styleand they always come back with a vengeance.
