Wolverine
Addison 1000 Mile Wingtip Boot
Established in Rockford, Michigan, in 1883 Wolverine made the original boots that helped build the railroads, erect skyscrapers, and expand highways across this great country. A historic mile marker for the brand took place in 1914, when Wolverine introduced a footwear line called the 1000 Mile Boot, setting the standard for durable footwear. Generations of American workers have come to depend on Wolverine boots for comfort and durability. Today, Wolverine continues to deliver on its promise with an extensive range of premium products including boots, shoes, apparel and gear.

the overall look and quality exceeded my expectations. worth every penny. i would consider getting a half size smaller if you prefer a snug fit.
I do like the fit, comfort, and style of these boots a great deal. the leather is very soft, with an oily feel to it (no doubt because of the proprietary tanning process by Wolverine). One issue that may be a potential problem is the quality of the sole - the leather there appears extremely soft, and after two days of wear is already all chopped up from waling from my parking garage to the office. The stitching on the sole is also not recessed, so has taken a pounding in the same two days. I have plenty of other leather-soled shoes, and those have held up much better after months of use. Your best bet would be to put on a rubber sole onto the boots straight away, and then enjoy.
