after reading other reviews, i ordered a size down from my norm siwy size. it was the wrong choice. these fit TRUE TO SIZE if you want to wear them the way they are meant to be worn- loose and low on the hips. people looking for these to fit tight on the waist (like skinny jeans) are the only ones who should size down. i personally didn't like wearing it fitted at all. these are harem-style cargos- THEY SHOULD BE LOOSE. order your normal size.

Some Curves/Average Height
I'm 5"4 and weighs about 132LB. I normally wear size 26 in jeans or size 2 in gap pants. I ordered size 25 first and thinking that I already went a size down but no. It's still huge on me. The waist band is huge and I don't have a tiny waist. It will also stretch out a size big since the fabric is very stretch. I ordered a size 24 again and it fits perfect now so you should go down 2 sizes. This pants is like a pair of riding pants. Runs loose at hip. It does make my crotch area looks huge with those pleats at front. It has a medium to high rise which I'm not crazy about. The curved lines on the butt does cut your butt in half when you bent, just like you wear a wrong pair of underwear underneath. I'm still debating whether I should keep it or not. It's different and very comfy. I also agree with the other shopper that the belt on the pants has to go. I would also like to mention that I have medium towards large calves so the pants does fit me tight but I won't worry about it. The fabric is too stretchy. I will worry more about whether I can still scrunch it up later when the pants stretches out. I only love this pants when I can scrunch it at bottom.
These pants are super comfy. They do run a full size big. I had to exchange for a size down. I dislike the belt it came with, so I just leave it off. I think it will be a great style for summer and fall. I am 5'4 and 115lbs and they hit right above my ankles, so I will just scrunch them up like the model has showing. Overall, very versatile and comfy, stylish cargo pants.
