I'm between sizes, and I ordered up because I like my skinny cut jeans to be just a wee bit big on me. Although the size i ordered is a little big, I'm still able to tuck these jeans into boots without scrunching or looking sloppy. I'm 5'9" and the length is great for heals, but a bit long for flats. I get some scrunching when I wear these with flats but not so much as to really merit getting them hemmed. Overall, they're super comfy and cute. The wash is versatile as well- good for going out or everyday wear....  |

I was looking for very fitted "skinny" jeans - and these didn't work too well for me. First off, they run a little big, and from the knee to ankle, it wasn't tight enough on my legs to look good with boots. I love the cut and color of these jeans. But I found them to be bigger than the Roxy in Mercer wash. The material is the same as the dojo's and bootcut and flare in NYD so it gets softer with wear. It's nice because this jean comes in a shorter length too, so perfect for tucking into boots!... |

I love these jeans!! NYD wash usually goes with most of my tops. Very comfy, doesn't make me look like I have a wedgie (most citizens I try on look that way -- I don't exactly have the bum for it), LOW-RISE (my fave) I'm 5'1" and they look great! I got pretty lucky getting this pair in a slightly larger waist size. I usually try on several pairs in the same size at certain stores cause they all fit differently, but the one I got was just right! These jeans are fantastic for tucking into boots, but I would go a full size down - unless you have big calves. They are really big in the waist, bigger than SFAM bootcut jeans. I am 5'5", 111 pounds. I usually get size 27 in SFAM bootcuts, b/c I like a little bit of room in my jeans. I can fit my bum in a 26 in the bootcuts, but it's tight. But for the Roxy's, I swim in the 27s, and have to go down to a 26. Not sure why. Like I said above, though, they're tight in the calf, and I have slim calves. So if you have a more muscular build these may not be for you.... |

I love the look of these. However, they do stretch out about half a size. I own a pair of SFAM NYD in bootcut - and those fit differently from these. If the Roxy's came in a size 23 - I would have probably got those instead. So to future buyers, I suggest sizing down. I love the look of these jeans. They are very versatile and the inseam is enough for me to wear heels or flats with minimual bunching. I have very small hips (31') and it fits perfectly. It's the perfect basic jean. I know the 7FAMK quality is exceptional and this is wearable for years to come... |

They were a bit low in the bum area when I got them, so I thought of sizing down. But the smaller size was toooooooo tight. So I took my normal size. But of course they stretched. and being a straight-hipped gal, they tend to slide down a bit. They are also quite tight on my calves. I wanted them to wear inside boots, so that is OK. But is you have anything besides skinny calves (be honest with yourself) these may look a bit too much like leggings. And contrary to one other review, I found the wash a it odd. There were two big white "distressing" lines making a V-shape on each of my knees. I will not say they are horrible. But I have had better skinny jeans. I suggest Ava or Avedon by Citezens of Humanity. They won't fall off the butt so much for the non-curvy girls out there. ... |

these are really skinny in the calves...but they are an OH SOO AWESOME looking wash in real life! the fit is about 1/2 smaller than the size, so size up if you're between sizes!... |

This was my first pair of premium denim jeans, and these are what I compare all my other jeans to, size-wiae, so these are most definitely true to size. They are long enough to wear with higher heels for sure, and I'm pretty tall. However, they stretch out sooooo easily, and I almost always have to throw them in the dryer to shrink them after wearing. I don't wear them much with flip-flops or flats, as I'd rather go for a straight leg jean, because I think these can make me look chunky (i'm a size 27). But, these are my first pick for jeans to wear with boots, such as UGGs. So comfy!... |

I LOVE these jeans! They are so comfortable and the size is right on. True to size. Some brands squish and flatten your bottom side, but not 7 for all mankind. Very flattering jeans. And COMFORTABLE!!!... |

i have a black pair in size 29, and they fit like a glove. so i thought the new york dark would fit the same way... they don't. first of all, i had to go down to a 28, and the waist and legs are kind of huge in weird places, making it neccessary to wear a belt so i don't go flashing my entire office whenever i sit down (i almost never wear belts, i have wide hips and a small waist so it's generally unneccessary). but the 27 was ridiculously tight (as in; couldn't button or zip them up), and the 29 was falling off. they're a lot looser around the knees and ankles than the black version (although they get better right after being washed and dried on low), but they still fit into my knee high boots, so they serve their function. ... |
