Compared to the usual PRPS line produced in Japan, this "heirloom" line produced in the U.S. is meant to make PRPS more mainstream and affordable, and it shows. While these jeans are very comfortable, their quality is nowhere near the quality of the PRPS jeans produced in Japan. You get what you pay for. The substantial, distinctive denim is produced with a blend that feels and looks a bit cheap, and there are no special features like the buttons and tabs on the others. These jeans are more "destroyed" than they appear in the picture, and they look like a lot of other jeans. I have a pair of Current Elliot and a pair of Blank that are very similar. If you don't want the full-on "slouch" look like in this picture, go down a full size (or two) from your usual size. These are super-comfortable, but I don't love them like I love the other PRPS. Very different.
