Australian designer Jamie Blakey sewed her first collection in her very own bedroom. Now, nearly a decade later, her Sydney-based line has found an international fan base. Known for clothing that is casual and beachy, One Teaspoon offers pieces that are effortless, cool, and still have that handmade feel.
I bought these in a size 25. I'm usually between a 0 and 2 in jeans, and a 25 in jeans from places like urban outfitters. I will be trying the next size down. I'm also 5'3 and 110lbs, so I'm pretty petite. That being said, I felt like they fit me a bit longer than I would like, and are pretty loose around my hips, even while they are worn low on my hips. Other than that, the quality and color is amazing, and shipping and returns are super convenient!
I have been looking at these shorts for EVER, seeing everyone I know wearing them on Instagram, so I just had to get my hands on them. ?The color is perfect , but I was disappointed when I tried them on. ?They didn't fit me right at all. ?From the front I feel like I could have been ok with them, but from the back these look way too oversized. ?And it wasn't that I needed to size down, the waist fit just right. ?These would probably work for someone who has a booty, but that is not me. ?Much too long in the back, almost diaper-ish. ?Definitely sending these back, but I really wanted them to work!
This is my 3rd pair of One Teaspoon shorts and while I love my other two, I love love love these! ?My new favorites. ?I am a 27 in all brands but I order a 28 in this brand because they are very short and I like them to sit just a little lower on my hips. ?I suggest either going with your regular size or consider sizing up for a little bit of a looser look.
