ABOUT Mara Hoffman

Launched in 2000, this New York designer studied fashion design and graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. Mara Hoffman has evolved from collections featuring hand-dyed couture pieces to her current collections which concentrate heavily on original silk prints. Her line encompasses everything from swimwear to cashmere coats pulling inspirations from nature, world travel, and fantasy.

This dress is AMAZING! I had my eye on it for a long time before finally ordering. I have bought a Mara Hoffman dress once before and was not too happy with it as the fabric was flimsy and the print not as vivid as I had hoped. I also felt that it was not flattering around the hip area even though I am not too curvy.?I loved this print and design so much that I decided to bite the bullet and give Mara another try after reading many reviews online. I am SOOO glad I did! The print and colours are really bright in person, the material is soft and flattering and the length is perfect. The dress is not lined which makes it more comfortable as you don't need to adjust or pull on the inside.?Great buy! I am hoping to get good use out of this dress in the summer and on vacation!For reference I am 115 lbs, 5'7" and a slim build. The S was a perfect fit.
