These boots are a bit hard to take on and off. There are three snap straps and a side zipper that goes under the straps. The good news is the straps are removable, so for easy on and off daily wear I removed the top set of straps. Very versatile -Boots look great zipped up for unzipped for a more casual look. Looks fantastic with skinny jeans tucked in or boot cut jeans over. Also works well with shorts or skirts. The ankle on this boot is pretty slim which works for my leg and ankle (usually for me it is hard to find boots that don't gap at the top)
