Created by Australian surfers Dan Single and George Gorrow, Ksubi is the result of ideas, individuality, and authenticity. Unswayed by trends, it developed into an underground subculture, an international presence with a cult following. Ksubi, a word to describe the culture of fashion, music, and art that inspired it, is a truly innovative line that manipulates conventionality with high-style results.
Okay, okay....*sigh*...well, where do i even start? These were my very very first pair of Ksubi's-i'd heard about them over and over but the astronomical price tags of most of them always kept me weary. but let me tell you. THESE THINGS ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY. I'm usually a size 24/25, i tried on first the 24's in front of my bf and although they were overall a little tight, and although I HAD THE PAIR OF 25'S RIGHT NEXT TO ME AND *KNEW* I NEEDED TO TRY THEM ON NEXT ASAP, there was just DEFINITELY something about that incredibly, ultra-"silky"/"satiny", baby-soft feel to those jeans that just hugged and caressed my not-so-supermodel 4'11''/98lb frame in ALL of the PERFECT places, i really hardly could get myself to take them off at all. When I finally went up the size higher, I *KNEW* I WAS IN LOVE. Obviously, I dont even think i need to go into depth about the fit and comfort as i think ive already been a little over the top with my deion regarding *that* area, hah. But just to reiterate...umm...can we say, 'a whole, BRAND-NEW, fantastically, mind-blowing, extraordinary DENIM **HEAVEN**??' I think we can. Seriously, I've never felt jeans like these before. Literally. NEVER. and I've tried them allbring it on: Hudson's; Joe's, Citizens4humanity; Sevens; True Religion, J Brand; Juicy Couture; DvB; hell, ill even throw in Abercrombie and JCrew for kicks. And that's honestly only naming a few (maybe approx. half) of the various brands of denim I have and do currently own and've literally given my own personal labels to: tried&test-driven/ OwnedToDeath/ 3Love3...butJustCuzTheirDesigner/ HaTeD/ LovedThenHated/ ReallyHated...Like,w.APassion/ WastedMAaaAd$$$$on/ *JustLiked*NOTLoved/ Loved'Till'i'Shrunk'Em/BecameQuicklyDisillusionedTheMin.Their"Time"PassedRightAfterThatVerySameWeekiSlurgedMySavingsOnThem/ &, of course, every gal's favorite, familiar, category...: The 'kinda-sorta-liked-but-if-**only**-if-*ONLY*-they'd-actually-FIT-me-even-SOMEWHAT-correctly'...... etc., etc., etc...). Nearly every girl's pair of jeans seems to at least *eventually* fall into SOME kinda category like that after a while. But these Ksubi's are a pair of denim buddies I GUARANTEE from personal experience THAT YOU'RE SURE TO NOT ONLY ADORE UNTIL THE END OF TIME BUT ALSO WONDER HOW THE HELL ANYONE ON THIS EARTH COULD ACTUALLY DESIGN/MANUFACTURE A PIECE OF CLOTHING SO WONDROUSLY 'WTF' **AMAZING**. You'll never regret this purchase if u just make it. dont think about it. do it. then u can lemme know how ABSOLUTELY RIGHT i was in my recommendation to you at some other later time. First youll be struttin in those things like every day once u get them (I wore them out of the store-I wouldnt take them off!!! seriously!), and theyre so cute and comfy u COULD even comfortable, SOBER & CONSCIOUSLY hop right into bed with these things and have a comfy, happy slumber. when you're bored, u can even play around with the zippers without them falling all to pieces (Really, their zipper on these jeans are so industrial strength bonded to the cotton and lining yet so slick and smooth and extremely easily to slip up and down and just decide one day to leave half-zipped. LOVES IT. I could purchase these exact-style & brand denim in literally one million and a half different colors, be happy, and never need anything else. THESE ARE MY "IT" jeans!! (*^__^*)
ahhh...ksubi...oh how i love you let me count the ways. this is my 6th pair of ksubi and they just keep getting better-especially this caviar wash-the denim is so soft its ridiculous. not to mention, the fit of ksubi jeans is epic...you should try them at least once. you will love these and not want to take them off, they are the only brand of jeans ive bought in years...none compare...worth every penny. xo
