Krane was founded by Ken Chow, a Canadian menswear designer who graduated from New York's FIT. After graduation, he interned with Marc Jacobs and Alexandre Plokhov of Cloak. Started in Toronto in 2004, Krane has rapidly captured the hearts of urban professionals around the globe. Krane Design combines the practicality of vintage uniforms with details from modern industrial design in pursuit of forward, functional, innovative and individualistic everyday accessories. Old School traditional tailoring techniques meet technology and a new stylistic design attitude in delivering essential items that acknowledge the thoughts and aspirations of the contemporary man.

Exceptional jacket with a few small imperfections. It keeps you warm and totally dry all while looking damn good, too. The small flaws include a metal hook on the neck part that faces inward rather than out which can press into your throat when being used. Also, the hood is removable as it is attached to the body with five buttons and the two outermost buttons can come undone just from extending your upper body too much. It's not a problem though as the hood stays on securely regardless. The hood can be a bit of a nuisance when wearing a messenger bag but, luckily, it's removable and can be taken off when not needed.
