Taking into account the Cost, Quality, and Style, I believe Joies Coachella boot is a bad investment. I would never ever ever recommend Joie products to anyone after my experiences. Sadly, I purchased the Suede AND Leather versions, which doubles my purchasers remorse. The Suede version is a little more durable than the Leather, but the shaft will NOT stay up, constantly slouching down the entire length up my leg. For a while I got creative and used deco. ribbon to tie them in place, but in the end I took them in at the calf (+$60 Repair) as I refused to accept them as an ankle boot. I am very average in calf size; these boots should fit to a tee. The boot runs a full size small and will still pinch at the toes of a person with a wider foot. The Leather version is a little better (now more like a knee high boot rather than a thigh high), but the leather is cheap and scuffs easy. Beautiful boots, but step up the quality, Joie.
Makes me legs look really long. Love it with black mini skirt
I love these boots! Great quality and the fit seems true to size. I haven't had the chance to wear them out yet and can't wait but just by trying them on multiple times they fit me just right. As for the color, it's just the right black. love the height, they are totally over my knees. Like I said can't wait to wear them out!
I was so excited to order these, and then so disappointed when I opened the box. The cololr is nol a true black, more like a "dusty" black. I normally wear a 7 and ordered a 7 1/2. Despite this, the foot of the boot fit very poorly. I do not have a wide foot by any means, and I have slim and athletic legs. The boot made me feel like I had wide feet and fat knees! I was also suprised at the lack of quality of the leather. They did not look or feel like expensive boots. Back they go.
I think this is a stylish and well made boot, but I have to say I have been just a little disappointed, possibly just because they didn't fit and I can't wear them yet! Everywhere I looked, these were rated as "true to size" but I absolutely recommend going up a half size. If you imagine wearing thick, warm socks, consider going up a full size. My biggest disappointment though was that (I'm almost 5'7") they only just cover my knee and I wish they were just a little taller. They are super cute, though!
