J Brand proves that the denim movement toward straight and skinny is hardly a trend. With an absolutely clean, anonymous back pocket and sophisticated lines, these jeans are already a classic set for the ages.

The dye on the jbrand jeans always irritates my skin in the beginning. These fit pretty tight on the waist but I hope they will stretch with wear. The hem is a bit off for me. I'm 5'8" so they are too short for heels but too long for flats. Not my favorite style from this brand. For a lack of a better word, they look "dorky" on me.
These jeans are Great! My problem is that I often need to size up, because I have quite muscular legs. So my jeans end up too big in the waist and hips. Not these; they are good in my tighs, and actually "roomy" in my, quite big, calves. But, I can feel them squeezing round my waist and hipbones. This is a first for me! I am normally a size 26, sometimes 25 (hip 35.4" or 90 cm, waist 25.6" or 65 cm) in 98%cotton 2%"stretch" denim (7s ,R&R, Paiges, TR and CoH). Revolve only had these in a size 25, so I took a chance and ordered them. I will not lie, they are very tight, although not unconfortably so. But all my 7s in 26 have stretched out so quickly, and are now quite big, so I have decided to keep these. If they only "conform to my body", they will be perfect! I think the color is the most gorgeous I have seen on a pair of jean. I am now a converted J Brand fan! Thank you so much Revolve, for all your help!
Frankly, I hate these. Not these in particular, but J brand jeans in general. They are high quality and it shows, BUT they are obviously designed to fit women with no curves. First, something about the drape or rather, the relentless CLING of the fabric that makes them exaggerate the bulkiness of your legs, if you have a round lower body. (If you don't, you're fine.) And, oh yes, it's this also that makes them seem unbearably snug at all times, even when they're nearly falling off and obviously need to be thrown in the wash. Second, I have a small waist (24") and wide hips (37") and most jeans I try on fit with slight gapping. These fit with CONSPICUOUS GAPPING while being too constricting at the hip. I can see these being extremely flattering on the right body type, but they are certainly not universally flattering. (Oh, and their curvy fit is all wrong on me too. Too much room in the thigh/the waist pinches.) So while I like J brand's minimalism and sophisticated dark washes, I will be sticking to Hudsons and Diesels when splurging on designer jeans. I'd recommend the same for anyone else, or at least any other woman with curves. ...
I wear jeans pretty much every day. But, I usually favor dark jeans for their versatility. I was looking for some skinny jeans that weren't too skinny and read the previous reviews on these. They are perfect and the color is classic, which makes them easy to dress up or dress down. I am 5' 11" and the 31 fits perfect. I could probably even get away with a 30. I wear them with black t-strap wedges or tall heels to dress them up and jeweled flats or flip flops for a more casual look. Being on the tall side, these jeans are the perfect length. The waist area doesn't pinch and they stretch to fit, but not too much that the size changes. I am so glad I read the reviews on these because I love them. My favorite tall girl jeans are Notify and Rock and Republic, which typically have 36"+ inseams. I am happy to add J Brand to my favorites list. I just ordered some 36.5" inseam LoveStory J Brand jeans in Oyster....can't wait to fall in love with them!
I really like the jeans! Love the colour. I got lots of compliments wearing the jeans. I have a size 26. Normal (Seven Roxanne, Miss Sixty) I am wearing a size 27 and sometimes a size 26. Normal I am wearing more Skinny jeans. So my second J brand will be the Pencil in Ink (yes I love the colour :)). Does anyone know what size is the right for me? Because they are slightly different then the cigarette.
