In 1994 he launched a t-shirt line that rapidly gained loyal fans looking for a seamless blend of luxe and casual. It's not obvious in the photo but there is a significant amount of ruching and excess fabric at the abdomen, butt area. This makes the dress look awkward on me, like I either have a bloated belly or a big butt depending on how I rearrange the excess cloth. In addition, the dress is very thick, almost impossible to wear in a tropical country without sweating buckets. It's also very tight. I was expecting a more t-shirt loose fit but this is definitely a bodycon type fitting. Would have loved for it to come in the usual james perse fabric and fit, but unfortunately these will have to go back. Maybe if you're very tall and leggy the excess fabric would work well for you.
