Derived from those sun-soaked Lemonade Stand Days designers and owners, Gillian Mahin and Laura Hall are the masterminds behind the line For Love & Lemons. Born in Wyoming, finding their style niche in Australia and now based in Los Angeles, the collection is anything but conventional-rebelling against the standards of modern society. The line taunts with intrigue as a clash of colors and patterns are evoked by chic separates and devious dresses. Where the modern gypsy is punk, For Love & Lemons is a brand to relate to, for that girl that doesn't follow trends, she makes them.
This dress arrived with three holes already in the stitching - one in the shoulder, one in the side, and one where the safety pin tag had been put in. I had to take it to a wedding dress repair shop after no response from the revolve team on a possible return... where I spent even more money to get all of the stitching fixed. The seamstress showed me how all of it had been done very unevenly and more holes might form (but luckily she fixed those areas up for free). only buy this dress if you're absolutely in love and willing to spend more money to fix the poor stitching and delicate fabric... otherwise it's a beautifuldress but maybe not worth all the $$$$ in the end!
This dress is beautiful but arrived in TERRIBLE condition. The fabric is EXTREMELY delicate and it came with two holes already forming on both shoulders. To make matters worse, there was a third hole where the tag was safety pinned on because the fabric is so sheer. I don't even know why they risked putting a tag at all. I didn't want to risk returning it and the dress being out of stock, so I've taken it to an alterations place... they showed me that all of the stitching was done very unevenly which is why the holes have already formed.I guess long story short- only buy this dress if you're ABSOLUTELY in love... otherwise you'll be spending extra money to get it fixed before you can even where it once :(.
