Dr. Martens
Print 8 Eye Boot
When the Dr. Martens boot first catapulted from a working-class essential to a counter-cultural icon back in the 1960s, the world was pre-internet, pre-MTV, pre-CD, pre-mp3s, pre-mobile phones. Hey, they'd only just invented the teenager. In the years before the boot's birthday, 1st April, 1960, kids just looked like tribute acts to their parents, younger but the same. Rebellion was only just on the agenda for some - for most kids of the day, starved of music, fashion, art and choice, it was not even an option.

I SO wanted these shoes to work, but they really fell short. They can make the daintiest feet look like Sideshow Bob's. I'm new to Doc Martens, but is this true for all of their boots? If so, WHY would any female ever want to make their feet look bigger, to the point where it's clownish? If they were a sleeker design (especially at the front of the foot), I would love them as the floral design is beautiful. But unfortunately, I will have to return them.
Not very comfortable. It's as lovely as the pic, but not very flattering as pattern on shoes, in my opinion.
I've had my boots on for 3 days and the are the best! I found myself walking around the houseat 10:000pm still wearing these boots. They're ultra feminine, and since I work for the Forestry Service they compliment my uniform. Thanks Doc.
