Wow. I just got these in the mail and I am speechless. These are the ideal jeans. Last week I got the Kelly in Pacific Blue, and I thought those were great, but this is better. The wash is a more comfortable broken in wash than the Kelly... Excellent wash, really soft, and definitely worth the extra money. Oh yeah, and I love the pockets, they give me a great ass.
Like most Citizens jeans, these Margos are very comfortable and flattering. If you have the standard COH washes (Pacific, Colorado), you will really like the slightly more decorative pocket detail. Unlike some newer denim styles, these are a medium-heavier weight denim, so these do not stretch out a ton by the end of the day. Also, the pocket placement on these is very flattering not too far apart or low. For me, as is similar to all of my COH, the waistband is not too large relative to the hip and thigh measurements that is, although I have to wear a belt with my 7FAM A pockets, TR Joeys and Paige LC and BC (for all of those, the size 27 thighs fit well while the waistband is a bit loose) these COH fit proportionately better. That is, I don't need to wear a belt with these, yet the thighs do not fit too snugly.
I really love these jeans. The pockets are really different, and definitely help accentuate the backside I don't actually have. The color is a really rich blue, and they are super stretchy. Definitely don't feel like I'm constricted at all. They are really long on me, so I'm going to hem them to cover the lighter spots that are at the bottom of the jeans in the back. They are really gorgeous!
Overall ...great. To me it runs half size small. I usually wear 25 for Seven for All Mankind and 26 for True Religion. It feels a bit tighter than the other jeans. I like the blue colored pocket.
The look I love, but the fit and comfort are okay. These jeans do stretch a bit but not as comforting as some others. The wash is perfect for fall/winter. Not my favorite, but they are alright.
