Sorry, I meant to add that these are apparently UNISEX jeans. Quite how women's and men's needs can be made to fit into a single item of clothing beats me.
Sorry if this is a long review, but I'd prefer to have read something like this here first before buying them, and $75.00 is quite a bit to spend if returning them is a mission impossible - as I live on the other side of the world. I certainly WOULD recommend this to others if you are prepared to fiddle with the jeans and a sewing machine. I ordered 32 x 32 fully expecting to find these jeans exactly correct for me; I am most often that size. Depending on the cut, the manufacturer and the cloth, I'll vary from 30 to 34. So I went for 32 to be on the safe side. The cloth here is VERY stretchy and the jeans sort of crept down my legs as there was nothing really holding them up. I refuse to wear a belt. So I grabbed the sewing machine and took in the legs bit by bit until they were like a second skin - and that kept them up as the tightness of the jeans was greater than the force of gravity. I have well shaped legs that are not bulky nor in any way thick set - they are the thinner side of perfect. I do believe I should have got the size 30 as I am sure, based on the experience of these 32s, that a 30 will be perfect. I fully expected to have to shorten them a couple of centimeters - and I did. They are nicely low cut so I have to wear lo-cut or no-show underwear if I don't want it showing. But I am quite happy to have an Armani or CK waistband showing so these jeans co-operate very nicely in that respect. I was also very surprised to see that after all the reading I have done on Cheap Monday jeans which are supposed to be RAW denim - and therefore must never be washed (refrigerated and frozen to kill bacteria if needs be), but never washed, my surprise was complete when I saw the label had washing machine instructions of a 40 degree C wash. Oh, and I was even more surprised, based on what others have written here about other Cheap Monday jeans, that they are made in China. In their adjusted state they are stunning and I love the skin tight look. The women at the gym said I looked very sexy in them - they loved my skinnies. And all along I thought it were my legs :(
